OUR SALES TEAM
GarbageMan has an exclusive agreement with a 3rd party sales and marketing company. Our standards and expectations for this team are very high. We expect that these sales representatives will always be polite and professional when they are representing GarbageMan. If you had a bad experience when you met with one of our sales representatives, we would appreciate it if you would tell us about this situation right away.
THE FINE PRINT – IN LARGE PRINT
GarbageMan utilizes 2 year agreements as part of its sales & marketing efforts. This type of agreement is standard in the trash hauling industry. What separates GarbageMan apart from the rest is that our agreement benefits both parties, not just the provider because we include a 2 year price guarantee.
This agreement provides that you will retain our services for a period of 2 years unless you move outside our service area or we don't properly pickup your garbage. You can cancel your service without penalty anytime prior to midnight 3 days from the date you signed the 2 year agreement. If you cancel before the end of the term there is an early cancellation fee. This cancellation fee is necessary because we begin investing time & money to fulfill our obligations related to execution of the agreement.
Our goal isn't to trick our customers into signing a contract or to hold them to an agreement they didn't understand or want. We believe exceptional service at a fair price will create a loyal base of customers. Our long term success is dependent on that philosophy.
CANCELLATION OF YOUR CURRENT HAULER'S SERVICE
If you have signed a written cancelation notice GarbageMan will mail it to your current provider on your behalf via certified mail.
Some haulers have at times refused to accept written cancellation. Some of these haulers use the same cancellation process in their sales & marketing campaigns. Their goal is to force you to call so they can attempt to match our rates. If they can match rates now, why didn't they do it before? The answer: COMPETITION!
If you don't hear from your current provider regarding your decision to cancel then we encourage you to contact them to confirm that their service has been cancelled as you have requested. If you have an experience where your current provider has not acknowledged your cancellation request, you may want to bring this matter to attention of the Better Business Bureau, Attorney General or your city officials.
Our sales team doesn't carry or accept cash for GarbageMan's services.
Unfortunately we aren't present at the time of the sale. We do not honor verbal agreements that are made between you and the independent contractor who is selling our services. Everything that is printed on your agreement is factual. If your sales representative promised you something that isn't on the agreement then please contact them to have it added.
RESIDENTIAL REFERRAL PROGRAM
GarbageMan will give our customers one free month of service for each new customer they refer to us. Please make sure that when the person you referred to GarbageMan signs up for our service that they mention your name so we can give you a free month of service.
